The pool measures 18 by 11.5 feet and runs 3.5 feet deep, on the lower level of the cabin. It is enclosed and heated to between 80 and 84°F, so a cold snap or a rainy afternoon never ends swim time. Snow on the windows in January is half the fun.

The cabin is in the gated Echota community of Sevierville, on the Pigeon River. From the front door it is roughly 18 minutes to the Pigeon Forge Parkway and 12 minutes to Gatlinburg.
