Planning your Smoky Mountains honeymoon
Congratulations. The cabin sleeps 12, but it works just as well for two, and a fair number of our guests are couples right after a wedding.
Why the Smokies
Easy to get to, but feels remote
A day's drive from most of the eastern U.S. The cabin sits up the ridge, so once you're there, you don't have to leave.
Cheaper than a resort
You get a private 4-bedroom cabin with a heated indoor pool and hot tub for less than two nights at a comparable resort. Booking direct saves another 10-20%.
A 5-day plan
Day 1: Arrive
Check in, unpack, hot tub at sunset, cook dinner.
Day 2: Adventure
Laurel Falls in the morning, lunch in Gatlinburg, the SkyBridge in the afternoon, dinner at The Peddler.
Day 3: Slow day
Sleep in. In-cabin couples massage if you booked one. Wine tasting in the afternoon. Cook dinner in the kitchen.
Day 4: Cades Cove
Drive the loop early for wildlife, picnic lunch, distillery on the way home, fireplace at night.
Day 5: Out
Morning hot tub, brunch in Gatlinburg, head home.
Add-ons we can arrange

- Private chef for one dinner
- In-cabin couples spa
- Photographer for an outdoor session
What to spend on, what to skip
Worth it

Skip
Eating out every meal. The kitchen is full, and groceries in Sevierville are cheap. Booking through a third-party site, you'll pay 10-20% more.
